Paula Abdul deserves credit for being Janet’s choreographer and likewise Michael Peters deserved more credit for being Michael Jackson’s choreographer on iconic dances like Thriller and Michael Peters was mixed race black and white jewish and his white jewish mother was the one who raised him and sent and paid for his dancing classes.He also choreographed Love os a Battlefield which came before Thriller and you can see the similarities

She's always been perfection and beautiful so talented I know having back issues it's had to be tough letting go what you live put janet was perfection because of Paula's moves and I know my roller skating championships now because of osteoarthritis and osteoporosis I still want to free style and feel free and I use to teach beginners so it hurts my passion ❤❤❤😢😢😢

FYI for people who are confused Paula Abdul was only Janet Jackson's choreographer for The Control album... But to be more specific she only choreographed 4 videos for Janet "what have you done for me lately?", "Nasty", "Control" & "when I think of you" she didn't choreograph "Pleasure Principle" and Janet never worked with her since .. everything from "Pleasure Principle" all the videos from rhythm Nation and after that was choreographed by Tina London.

This was the year that Whitney Houston took home all the awards from every award show that year

It is apparent that some folks don’t know what choreographers are hired to do.. their job is to assist in developing dance routines for the look the artist is trying to achieve.. not teaching a person how to literally dance.. Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, Britney Spears, etc.. All have hired choreographers for the same. So does that mean MJ could not dance? Of course not!! Paula only assisted Janet in 3 videos on the control album that is it and she was already performing prior to that as a youngster..

Janet was way cooler than Paula at this point in both of their careers. And yeah I know Paula taught Janet those moves but she went above and beyond with her look, style, dancing and music. Just my opinion.

Paula Abdul was dance her teacher obviously❤ She taught Janet Jackson how to dance R&B, pop dance,hip hop,funk rock new and jack swing, and Michael Jackson’s essence dance style, all together make an amazing dance mix❤

I will give this particular performance to Paula. It just had more energy and choereography, plus Janet was way overdressed for this performance (same in the video, but the officail video is still a great video) But let's face it for both of their 80's and into the 90's careers there isn't even a comparision. Janet stomped all over Paula.
